Your spring kickstarter – Brazilian Hazy IPA!
I got my hands on this Brazilian Hazy IPA from Cervejaria Everbrew. Knowing Brazilian beers are pretty rare in Europe, I was very excited to actually try this one out in person. The can looks very stereotypically Brazilian – colorful, summery, something that belongs to be drunk at a football match.
It is really an explosion of flavors; the Idaho7 hop brings all the possible tropical flavors you can imagine. Imagine prime Ronaldinho dribbling Getafe or Rayo Vallecano defenders on a warming March evening. That’s how the first sip felt. The beer is balanced by Motueka and Krush, really complicating the hazy tropical nature nicely.

Just look at the color. Bright, orange, vibrant.
For me, as someone from Finland, this beer belongs to your first spring warm evening. The sunny skies and hopeful optimism of a nice summer. Your first grill evening. It is by no means a perfect beer, but there is nothing remotely annoying or irritating about it. Just like seeing those Ronaldinho clips as a kid, you want more. This is the case with this beer. You want more of that first spring evening, more of that nice summery hazy IPA.
